Are you living? I mean, are you really alive? Can you enjoy the little things- the feeling of a gentle wind on your bare skin, the stretching muscles in your legs when you walk and run, or understanding that you are unfathomably loved by your Creator, knowing that it’s enough for you?
The thief (satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Christ) came that they may have life and have it abundantly. –John 10:10
1. God made us to live and to live well. He designed us, as human beings, to reach not just our own greatest potential, but His. We’re born to become part of His awesome glory. “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” -1 Corinthians 10:31
2. Act! Living well doesn’t include sitting inside every day, numbly watching television or getting dragged into depression by a frustratingly monotonous job. Ask God to enhance your living experience and take action. “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart”. –Psalm 37:4.
3. Growth occurs outside your comfort zone. Too much comfort has an awful tendency to breed laziness. There are so many opportunities available to us and we can grow from each of them. “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.” -2 Peter 3:18.
