Day 1
After spending time in Chicago, our motley, yet intrepid crew sleepily tarried on to Seoul, South Korea for a layover (complete with fried chicken) and then on to Manila briefly – for we were to soon depart to do some island hopping before the time our main purpose for being in the Philippines arrived

We finally arrived in Manila, and sleepily made it through customs. I decided to go with the first person to offer me a local sim card and ended up buying more data than needed – thus starting off my cluelessness in the Philippines!
